At Prevent we are always looking for better ways to secure our customers, communities, and future; and technology can provide the resources we need. Our new BLOG will allow us to discuss new technologies and determine how it can be implemented to achieve the goal of a safer working environment, and increase the protection of assets. Does our name represent who we are?
Are We Unique?
Will our name help our customers identify with us?
These were some of the questions we asked ourselves when we came up with the name PREVENT SECURITY & TECHNOLOGY. I think everyone would agree that the best way to keep people safe, and assets secure, is to Prevent vulnerabilities from forming. Security is taking precautions to guard against these vulnerabilities; and Technology provides the means and methods we use to create the safeguards. So why did I underline & Technology above? Because Technology is what is driving change in the security industry, and it is our obligation to you to always be on the cutting edge. The use of technology is not limited to certain companies, or departments, or markets; so why should we limit our services to security? Although our primary focus is on security, the technology we support requires us to have some experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, software programming, and network security. Our knowledge in these fields can be a resource for our customers that are secondary to their security needs.
